Jonathan was born in California, but raised in Auburn, Washington. He graduated from the University of Washington with a business degree and started coolblueweb from his basement in 2009. He loves getting to see the impact of his work in the community and enjoys the hard-working, fun-loving culture at the company office. When he isn’t at the office, Jonathan can be found rock climbing or spending time with his wife and two daughters. His favorite Seattle landmark is Alki Beach.
Bryan is a Michigan native who moved to the Seattle area after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Digital Arts and Design from Full Sail University. He joined coolblueweb in 2010, bringing his passion for development and design to the team. His favorite part of the job is helping his teammates come up with unique solutions. When he isn’t at his desk, he can be found at one of many local pinball machines, racking up high scores. Bryan’s favorite Seattle landmark is the Fremont Troll.
Michael grew up in Texas, where he graduated with a Master of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Texas. As a natural extension of that degree, he decided to go into web development and move to Seattle in 2009. Michael joined coolblueweb in March 2012 and enjoys the opportunity to problem solve within a realm that is constantly evolving. He spends his free time flying planes and riding his motorcycle. Michael’s favorite Seattle landmark is Lincoln Park.
Sarah is a Washington native who earned her degree in Dance and English from Chapman University in Orange, California. She joined coolblueweb in March 2012 and loves that the job gives her an opportunity to hone her writing skills and work with a skilled and passionate team. Sarah also teaches modern dance and spends her spare time working on sci-fi and fantasy novels. Her favorite Seattle landmark is Gasworks Park.
Howard spent the first few years of his life bouncing around between Taiwan, the Philippines and the US. He studied Bioengineering and Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philly. As a member of the coolblueweb team, he likes getting to use both the analytical and creative sides of his brain to come up with solutions to problems. Howard also enjoys social dancing and playing music with his friends. His favorite Seattle landmark is Cal Anderson Park in Capitol Hill.
Kellen grew up just north of Seattle in Bellingham, where he received a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Western Washington University. He joined coolblueweb in August 2012 and enjoys getting to work on a variety of interesting projects with entrepreneurial clients. When he isn’t developing, Kellen is the lead singer for a local indie rock band. His favorite landmark is the Lenin statue in Fremont.
Chase has lived in Washington, Montana and Oregon. He attended Northwest University in Kirkland, WA where he studied Business Marketing with an emphasis in Music. Chase loves that his position at coolblueweb allows him to be creative, working within an exciting community and utilizing his problem solving skills. When he isn’t at the office, Chase can be found playing Frisbee golf, making music, watching movies, or snowboarding. His favorite Seattle landmark is the Ballard Locks.
Andrea was born in Miami, Florida. She attended the Art Institute of Tampa, where she studied Web Design and Interactive Media. She plans on attending Harvard Extension for Software Development. Her favorite part of working for coolblueweb is having the opportunity to learn new things and solve difficult problems. For as long as she can remember, Andrea has always loved computers. When she isn’t at her desk, she’s a prolific sleeper. Andrea’s favorite Seattle landmark is the Jimi Hendrix statue.
Emily spent her early years in California and South Carolina. She attended Clemson University where she studied Industrial Engineering before moving to Seattle in 2007. Emily is excited to be a part of the coolblueweb team and environment. She enjoys learning and working within the web development industry, as well as taking full advantage of the espresso machine in the break room. Emily also teaches glassblowing. Her favorite Seattle landmark is the Paramount Theater.
